Rally to clean up our ocean and beaches after the fire!
In the wake of the recent fires, our coastline is facing serious environmental threats — from storm drain runoff to septic system overflow. Now more than ever, we need to come together to demand real action.
Our students, our families, our businesses, and our community deserve clean beaches.
Join us on
Tuesday, July 29th at 4:00 PM at Santa Monica City Hall
For a press conference and community rally, followed by public comments at the City Council meeting.
Why We’re Rallying:
The fire has left behind toxic debris, ash, and runoff that is now headed directly into our storm drains — and eventually, our ocean. Without immediate intervention, we risk contaminating our beaches and threatening marine life, public health, and the vibrant ecosystem that defines our coastline.

What We’re Advocating:
How You Can Help:
1. Show up in person. Bring your surfboards, wetsuits, and ocean spirit. This is a visual rally — let's show our strength and solidarity.
2. Speak during the City Council public comment session. Tell your story — why the ocean matters to you, and what action you want the city to take.
3. Share on social media.
